No nurse practitioner visits. You will always see Dr Gaber for your visits which last 45 to 60 minutes. Your very first visit usually lasts 90 minutes. Every visit includes taking a comprehensive history of all your complaints and a complete physical exam including blood pressure - always done by Dr Gaber himself.

Office procedures: We do abdominal and thyroid ultrasounds. We do  stress echocardiograms, 2-D echocardiograms and carotid ultrasound studies. Our specialized carotid ultrasounds include intimal medial thickness measurements of cholesterol plaque. Our two excellent certified echo techs have over 20 years experience in their fields. We also do Pulmonary Function Tests and EKG’s. Dr Gaber does a microscopic examination of every urine specimen himself.

Dr Gaber is a board-certified Internal Medicine doctor and Hospitalist. He recently attended a 96 hour Internal Medicine review course at Harvard and a 20 hour Ultrasound course in St Petersberg.  He lectures on Nutrition and Preventive Health.
